December 24th, 2009

For people who are familiar with grilling, they would agree that cooking with a charcoal grill is more than just turning on a switch. Despite the difficulties, a lot of people still favour the good old fashion charcoal grill.

Many people feel that the flavour imparted by grilling with charcoal is worth a little extra time and difficulty. Most often, what makes people not mind the effort of using a charcoal grill outdoor is the distinct smoky flavour that can only be produced by this type of grill.

Is is not easy to operate a charcoal grill. The temperature produced are not as consistent as compared to gas grills.

Stainless Steel Charcoal Grill

A stainless steel charcoal grill is ideal if you need your grill to be portable. Being ultra lightweight, it is very convenient to just pack away. The only limitation is the amount of food that can be grilled at any one time due to the small capacity of this grill. There may be a need to have several batches of burgers and hot dogs before a bigger group can be satisfied with their meal.

Gas BBQ Grills

Till you have experience using a gas bbq grill, you would not know how simple and easy it is to use one. One of the limitation of gas grills is the need for fuel. For people who prefers to do grilling without fuel, the electric grill is a great alternative.

Outdoor Electric Grills

These grills have gained a lot of attention over the last couple of decades as being an efficient and safe way to grill all sorts of foods.

As a cooking device that uses electrical heating elements instead of gas fires or a bed of hot charcoal as the heat medium, an electric grill provides quick and easy options for enjoying the taste of grilled food without a lot of the mess.

For people with plenty of space and who love to cook in the backyard, there are electric grills that will easily prepare meat and vegetables for twelve or more people at one time. Otherwise, electric grills will take up very little floor space and still be able to prepare food for three to four people at a time. This is most ideal for anyone with a small patio or deck.

The biggest limitation the outdoor electric grill is that you would need a power source for it to work.
